Togo August is a collective created in 2015 to encourage all Togolese in the diaspora, their families and friends to meet up in Togo every two years in August. The event, which has become a not-to-be-missed event, provides an opportunity to meet new people, discover tourist and cultural attractions, and take part in community and entrepreneurial activities.

Located in the far south-east of Togo, around 45km from Lomé, Aného is one of the country's oldest historical cities. A former colonial capital, it is packed with sites that bear witness to its rich and complex past.
